Brief Information:
Syed Ali Allauddin Khansahib Razvi Al-Bukhari ( 1610 - 1671.c) popularly known as "Khan Seab" was a scholar and a sufi of Suharwardiyah order,
through the great sufi saint Abul-Fuqara Baba Naseeb Ud Din Ghazi.
He(Syed Ali Allauddin Bukahri) was born in Chewdara village of Tehsil Beerwah, District Budgam (J&K India).
He was born to Syed Saif-ud-Din (khansahib) Razvi Al-Bukhari. Syed Ali is the direct descendant of Prophet Muhammadصلى الله عليه وسلم
through the lineage of Imam Hussainؑ عليه سالم and is the 36th descendant.
And they left this world in 14 Dhul Qadah 1081(AH)
Syed Ali Alauddin's shrine is located in the village of Chewdara, it is about 150 m far away from Jamia Masjid
Shareef Chewdara (B). Which is about only 1minute of walk to reach this location. From tehsil beerwah it
is the distance of 3.3 km.
Name:
If we go back to the history, it was Syed Yusuf Al-Razvi Bin Syed Ahmad Bin Muhammad Mirza a wealthy and a brave person who came
from Bukhara (Uzbekistan) to Hindustan (India) during the Mughal Sultanate, Sultan Jalaluddin Akber ordered Yusuf Khan to march to Kashmir,
at that time Qasim Khan was in the role of empire on the arrival of yusuf khan he resigned and yusuf khan was appointed as a governor of
Kashmir region due to which he gained the title of “khan”. This title (khan) stays with the names of his sons and the grandsons as well (like,
dilawar khan, rustum khan). That’s why Syed Ali’s name contains the title “khan” and people used to call him “Khansaeb”.
Birth And Death:
Syed Ali Allaudin (khansahib) Razvi Al-Bukhari (1610 c.- 1671) was born in 1018 (AH) to Sayyid Saif-ud-Din (khansahib)
Razvi Al-Bukhari, and they left this world in 14 Dhul Hijjah 1081(AH) . Syed Ali Alauddin's shrine is located in the village of Chewdara,
it is about 150 m far from Central Mosque Chewdara (B) and 3-KM far from Beerwah Town.
Spiritual Journey:
Back to 400 years ago, it was a “Parganah-Man-choo-humah” (e.g, district at that time), in Chewdara Syed Saif khan was a well rich personality.
when Baba Naseeb came with his disciples to chewdara, Syed Saif khan heard about this event and he cleaned the road from where they go through.
Afterall one of the disciples told this story to Baba Naseeb, he said him in return that “they washed the road through we walked, but we will wash (purify)
their hearts”. Syed Ali was about only 15 years old while witnessing this all the event happening, he get in ecstasy and run away from his home to find Baba Naseeb.
Syed Ali Ala-ud-Din (Khansahib) Bukhari's (R.A) life unfolded in distinct phases, each marked by spiritual growth, devotion, and service to humanity. He inherited
a legacy of piety and wisdom that laid the foundation for his remarkable journey. Under the mentorship of Hazrat Baba Naseeb-ud-Din Ghazi (R.A), a revered disciple
of Baba Dawood Khaki(R.A) (who himself was the disciple of Shaikh Hamza Makhdoom(R.A)) , Syed Ali Alaa Ud Din delved deep into the mystical teachings of Sufism,
seeking spiritual enlightenment. Embracing an ascetic lifestyle, he devoted himself wholeheartedly to prayer, worship, and inner reflection, embodying the virtues
of humility and compassion. Following his passing, his shrine in Chewdara became a sacred pilgrimage site, drawing seekers of truth and solace from far and wide.

Practice of Spiritual Teachings:
- Syed Ali Alaa Ud Din (Khansahib) Bukhari devoted himself wholeheartedly to the practice of spiritual
teachings imparted by Hazrat Baba Naseeb-ud-Din Ghazi.
- His daily life became a testament to his unwavering faith and dedication, as he immersed himself in acts
of worship, prayer, and service to humanity.
Ascetic Lifestyle:
- Renouncing worldly comforts and material pursuits, Syed Ali Ala-Ud-Din (R.A) embraced an ascetic
lifestyle, choosing instead the path of simplicity and detachment.
- His austere way of life served as a model of spiritual discipline and self-denial, inspiring others to
tread the path of renunciation and inner purification.
Shrine And Urs-Mubark
Establishment of Shrine in Chewdara(Beerwah,Budgam):
-Following his passing of Syed Ali Alau-ud-Din Khansahib Bukahri(R.A) in 1018AH, the devotees of Syed Ali Alaa Ud Din (Khansahib) Bukhari (R.A) created a
shrine in his honor in the village of Chewdara(Beerwah,Budgam,Kashmir).
The shrine was first created in 1100thHijri But Unfortunately later on was caught into fire and
then was reconstructed on 1200thHijri and still on present-Date from 2013 is constructing further.The Shrine is located at a mere 150 meters from the revered
Jamia Masjid Shareef Chewdara, became a sacred
pilgrimage site for seekers of spiritual solace and divine blessings.
Celebration of Urs-Mubarak:
The Urs-Mubarak, or the anniversary of Syed Ali Alla-Ud-Din's spiritual ascension, is celebrated on 14 of
Dul-Hijjah with fervor, Quran recitation, Salutations (darood-o-salaam), Khatamaat-tul-muazamaat and dua’s recited by devotees.
The occasion serves as a time of spiritual reflection, communal gatherings, and acts of charity, honoring
the saint's enduring legacy and teachings.
Gathering of Devotees:
Pilgrims from far and wide converge upon the shrine of Syed Ali All-Ud-Din during Urs-Mubarak, seeking
blessings and divine intervention.
The atmosphere is charged with devotion and piety, as devotees engage in prayers, recitations, and rituals
to commemorate the saint's spiritual journey.
Disciples:
There were numerous disciples of Syed Ali Khan, but most known is Pir Ali Shah. Ali Shah was a poet and a Khalifa of Syed Ali,
where he expressed in his famous book in the masnavi of “Khadeejah Namah”.
